Ritu Sharma

CEO, SDG Nexus

Ritu Sharma spearheads the efforts of SDG Nexus, a multi-stakeholder physical and digital, global development platform for leveraging access to Internet from the demand and adoption side to accelerate the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She works with various Governments, international NGOs, technology corporations, World Bank and ICT for Development coalitions around the world to facilitate adoption efforts in the global south. She is an active participant and member of various internet access initiatives like the US State Department’s Global Connect Initiative, People Powered Internet and Internet for All where she advocates for resources for local community led efforts for bottom up engagement in the global south.

She is also the CEO & Co-Founder of Social Media for Nonprofits (SM4NP), an organization bringing educational and capacity building programs in digital media to nonprofits worldwide through signature one-day conference series, webinars, content and online learning. SM4NP has served over 10,000 nonprofit professionals globally. She is a member of the technology partner network for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, serves on the board of Palo Alto Art Center Foundation. She speaks and writes frequently on a variety of topics in the field of digital transformation, innovation, international development, developing demand-based bottom up global frameworks and women in leadership in technology.

Bill Crouch

CEO/Founder, Crouch and Associates

Often described as a creative visionary, Bill served as the President of Georgetown College in Kentucky between 1991 and 2013. Prior to Georgetown College he was the Vice President for Development at Carson-Newman University in Tennesee, Director of Development at the Baptist Children’s Homes in North Carolina and Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. Immediately after his tenure at Georgetown College and before forming Crouch and Associates, Bill was recruited by Jerold Panas and served as Senior Managing Partner of Jerold Panas, Linzy and Partners.

In recent years he has been a speaker at the United Nations, West Point, and Disney regarding the importance of providing access for diverse populations. Bill was elected a Distinguished Fellow at Regent’s Park College at the University of Oxford (UK) and is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He is the co-author, with Joel C. Gregory, of the 2010 book, "What We Love About the Black Church." He is currently a member of the National Board of Trustees for The First Tee of the PGA Tour and serves on the World Golf Foundation’s Diversity Council.

Kushal Dasgupta

Associate Vice Chancellor of Advancement Services at NC State University

Kushal is the Associate Vice Chancellor of Advancement Services at NC State University, leading a team of ~40 FTEs across six departments Prospect Research, Prospect Management, Alumni and Donor Records, Development Communications and Donor Relations, Information Services and Information Technology. He is a key member of the leadership team implementing a $1.5 billion comprehensive capital campaign in the Fall of 2016. Kushal got his start in Advancement at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he managed the transition of the legacy advancement database to Advance.

Frank Williams

Director and United Nations Rep., World Vision International, New York

Frank represents World Vision to the UN and related entities, diplomatic missions, corporations, foundations and peer organizations. Frank also engages the New York and Silicon Valley domains for disruptive and scaling innovations relevant to vulnerable children. Frank has served in Kenya, Haiti, South Africa, Democratic Rep. of Congo, experiencing major political, economic and climatic disruptions while designing and implementing child focused programming at the last mile. Frank has also worked in law, publishing and accounting and has degrees in business and law. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization working with communities across the world to address poverty and injustice. World Vision makes a 15 year commitment to each community it enters, and is the number one provider of clean water to developing nations in the world. World Vision’s recent global campaign for maternal and child health mobilized 20.4 million people across more than 70 countries through 36,000 events, with deep political impact and local engagement.

Amy Wolfe

President and CEO of AgSafe

Amy Wolfe is the President and CEO of AgSafe, the education leader for the food and farming industries in supporting their commitment to a healthy and safe workforce and a sustainable wholesome food supply. Her career has included tenure as a professional staff member in the California State Assembly, serving as an account executive for E&J Gallo Winery and as Vice President of the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation.

Ms. Wolfe is also dedicated to her community and profession, serving on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals as well as being a member of Modesto Rotary and 30-year member of the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California.

Ms. Wolfe received her Master of Public Policy and Administration from California State University, Sacramento, her Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is accredited as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).

Terence Mulligan

President of the Napa Valley Community Foundation

Terence Mulligan is the president of the Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF), a nonprofit grantmaking organization that distributes between $3 million and $5 million annually to charitable projects in Napa County. Prior to joining the staff of NVCF, he spent three years at the Peninsula Community Foundation in Silicon Valley, helping to raise the visibility and asset base of the organization among individuals, families and corporations.

Terence has a mix of public and private sector experience, including jobs at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Institute for International Economics and Accenture. In partnership with a highly engaged Board of Directors and a dedicated professional staff, Terence has tripled the asset base of NVCF and grown the organization’s discretionary grantmaking from $20,000 per year to nearly $1,000,000 per year since 2005. According to a survey of several thousand donors conducted by the nonprofit Center for Effective Philanthropy, NVCF is the top-rated community foundation in the US on two-thirds of the key measures related to donor satisfaction and impact. In 2011, NVCF was ranked as the 13th most active grantmaker among more than 750 community foundations across the country, and its innovative programs and community leadership work have served as a model for other foundations across California and the US.

Terence is a native of the Sacramento Valley and holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is the co-author of a 1996 Harvard Business School case study, Chiquita Brands, and was awarded the prestigious John Gardner Public Service Fellowship when he graduated with honors from UC Berkeley. Terence lives in Napa with his wife and two young kids.

Kim Meredith

Executive Director, Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society

As the inaugural Executive Director of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS), Kim Meredith has been responsible for strategic leadership, strong financial performance and consistent organizational growth, including scaling the Stanford PACS budget ten times in five years through expansion of research and programmatic initiatives. Ms. Meredith joined in July 2009, one year later led the team to acquire the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR), and thereafter opened Stanford PACS at the Stanford Center at Peking University. Ms. Meredith brings dynamic and innovative leadership to implement the mission of Stanford PACS and SSIR.
Prior to joining Stanford PACS, Ms. Meredith served as the Chief Development Officer for Planned Parenthood Federation of America in New York City. Before joining PPFA, she served for nine years as the Chief Operating Officer at Planned Parenthood in San Francisco. Ms. Meredith launched her business career in corporate America at AT&T for 10 years.
Ms. Meredith serves on the Board of Directors of the California Family Health Council as Vice Chair, awarding grants for women’s reproductive health; the George Lucas Education Foundation - Edutopia, illuminating and showcasing what works in education; the Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2), as board liaison to grantee Asylum Access; and on the Advisory Board of Yintai Research Center of Philanthropy and Social Impact at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University.
Ms. Meredith graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics. In 2005, she received a fellowship to the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders.
