Dr. Dzakovich is a graduate from Loyola University School of Dentistry and has been in private practice his entire professional career. He was a clinical instructor in Loyola’s fixed-prosthodontic department and mentored a dental study club in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

He is a past president of The Chicago Component, of The Academy of General Dentistry; a member of The American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, He is an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute and for the last 18 years has served as Chairman of The Northwest Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society Peer Review Committee.

He has studied the in vitro study effects of toothpaste and toothbrush on the human dentition as of 1999 and has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2008 and 2013. He is currently conducting another in vitro study regarding the effects of acid-erosion on the human dentition.

Tomas Linkevičius is an Associate Professor in Institute of Odontology, Vilnius University in Lithuania. He received in dental degree in Kaunas Medical University in 2000. In 2004 he completed the post-graduate studies in prosthodontics in Vilnius University. In 2009 he finished his doctoral dissertation and defended it in Riga Stradins University in Latvia. Tomas Linkevičius is an author of many publications in international peer-reviewed journals and focuses his research on soft tissues and cementation of implant restorations. Henry Salama, DMD

Dr. Henry Salama was born in Cairo, Egypt and spent his early years there before moving to Brooklyn, New York. He studied Biology at the State University of New York Binghamton and received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School.

Dr. Salama then pursued post-graduate specialties in Periodontics, Periodontal Prosthetics, and Fixed Prosthodontics as well as Implant Surgical Training and Implant Prosthetic Training. In addition, he is the former Director of Implant Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Salama is the author of numerous scholarly publications, including several he co-authored in the field of inter-disciplinary treatment and implants. He is a sought-after lecturer and has spoken before dental conferences and seminars in th U.S., and Europse and Asia as well as Central and South America.

His current research activities focus on long-term stability of esthetic soft tissue enchancement techniques as well as immediate loading of root form implants.

Dr. Salama enjoys spending time playing basketball, scuba diving, and skiing. His wife, Shirley, is a general dentist who has also received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Irena Sailer received her dental education and Dr. med. dent. degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tübingen, Germany in 1997/ 1998. In 2003 Dr. Sailer received an Assistant Professorship at the Clinic of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Material Sciences in Zurich. From 2010 on she was an Associate Professor at the same clinic. In 2007 Dr. Sailer was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Biomaterials and Biomimetics, Dental College, New York University, USA. Additionally, since 2009 she holds an Adjunct Associate Professorship at the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, Robert Schattner Center, School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Since September 2013 she is the Head of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva.
Irena Sailer is a Specialist for Prosthodontics (Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry), and holds a specialization degree for Dental Implantology (WBA) of the Swiss Society for Dentistry. She is a Member of the Board of the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry and of the Swiss Leadership Team of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). Furthermore, Irena Sailer serves the Scientific Boards of the European Association of Osseointegration and the Swiss Society of Implantology.

He graduated in medicine in 1990 at the University of Verona and since then he practices dentistry at his private office in Genoa. Among the many post graduate courses attended, he attended the one-year-course in advanced surgery held by Prof. Massimo Simion in Milan and attended a Master course in Regenerative Surgical Techniques at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kirk Pasquinelli received his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice hospital based residency at Mount Zion Medical Center and remained on the hospital dental and training staff while also practicing restorative dentistry in San Francisco. He received his periodontal training at the University of Washington in Seattle.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry, Division of Graduate Prosthodontics and has taught continuing dental education at both UCSF and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He is on the faculty of the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy as well as the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education. Dr. Pasquinelli continues to teach select groups nationally and internationally and has authored numerous articles in the periodontal and restorative dentistry literature.

Michael Bergler, MDT, is internationally recognized in the area of esthetic ceramic restorations and CAD/CAM-technology. Furthermore he is co founder of the CAD/CAM-Ceramic-Center at University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He has published and lectured extensively on restorative materials and dental technology. In July 2013 he received a faculty position in the Department of Restorative & Preventive Sciences. Mr. Bergler is an active member of the International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM). He trained in Germany at the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg, Department of Prosthodontics, and earned his Certificate of Master Dental Technician (MDT) at the Masterschool of Freiburg, Germany. In addition to holding numerous appointments within the Department of Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry, University of Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany, he served as a Master Dental Technician with Dental Laboratory Rainer Semsch, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. As the founder and director of Spear Education, Dr. Spear continues to be recognized as one of the premier educators in esthetic and restorative dentistry in the world today. Dr. Spear earned his dental degree from the University of Washington in 1979, and an MSD in periodontal prosthodontics in 1982, also from the University of Washington. Dr. Spear is an Affiliate Professor in the graduate prosthodontics program at the University of Washington. In addition to his faculty and practice responsibilities, Dr. Spear maintains a busy lecture schedule, presenting dental continuing education in North America, Europe and Asia. He has been recognized by numerous associations for his contributions to dentistry. In 1993, he was awarded the Christensen Award for Excellence in Restorative Education from the Chicago Dental Society. In 1995, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry presented him with a special award for having advanced the Art and Science of cosmetic dentistry in the United States. In 1996, he became the third recipient, after Dr. Morton Amsterdam and Dr. Walter Cohen, to receive the Saul Schluger Memorial Award for Excellence in Diagnosis and Treatment Planning from the Seattle Study Club. He and colleague Vincent G. Kokich were awarded the first ever the Presidents Award for excellence in education from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He also earned the 2004 Distinguished Alumnus Award from Pacific Lutheran University his undergraduate Alma Mater. And in 2013 was named Distinguished Alumnus for the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Spear's memberships include the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Spear is a former President of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Nevins is a past President of the American Academy of Periodontology and a former Director and Chairman of the American Board of Periodontology where his contributions have been recognized with the Gold Medal and the Master Clinician Awards. Dr. David Garber is one of the internationally recognized multidisciplinary educators well-known as “Team Atlanta.” Dr. Garber is the recipient of “The Gordon J. Christensen Lecturer Recognition Award,” “The American College of Prosthodontics Distinguished Lecturer Award,” “The Northeastern Periodontal Society Isador Hirschfeld Award for Clinical Excellence,” “The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics Distinguished Lecturer Award,” and “The David Serson Medal of Research” and an honorary member of the Kois Center for Advancing Dentistry through Science.

He is a past president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and has served on the boards of both the AAED and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.

Dr. Garber is dual trained clinician and professor in the Department of Periodontics as well as in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Louisiana State University and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

He is past editor of the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, co-author of Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Bleaching Teeth, Porcelain and Composite Inlays and Onlays, and Complete Dental Bleaching, and has published in excess of 60 articles and textbooks chapters.
